PCC Flea Market
The Flea Market happens once a month on Sundays at PCC's East parking lot (off Bonnie). We raise funds running a concession stand. We welcome donations from members in the form of money so we can buy the drinks we will sell.
Flea Market happens every 1st Sunday of the month, starting
at 7am until about 2pm. (For donation limits and guidelines refer to

TV Tapings
Get paid to watch a show!
We usually have get there 30-60 min prior to the start of the event. As we are going to be on TV, there's usually a dress code (not hard) and they'll often ask that you bring nothing that you cannot put in your pocket. Cell phones and cameras are not allowed. American Red Cross/LAC+USC Hospital Blood Drives
The prick is for a moment! The American Red Cross delivers blood to patients at over 150 area hospitals. Besides donors, they welcome Volunteers at blood drives, to man the Registration and Refreshment tables. Donors may give every 8 weeks.
There is no blood drive scheduled at this time, but you can always donate blood elsewhere. Just make sure you get a record of your donation. To set up your donor appt time click here – Sponsor Code: PCC.
Rose Bowl Market
The 2nd Sunday each month, rain or shine! The Rose Bowl Flea Market lets us run a concession stand. Let's show quick teamwork! Hours are 7a until 3:30p.
Dress code: Black pants / dark jeans [no holes], White collared shirt [no t-shirts], and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. You get gloves, apron, and a visor. Bring sunscreen!
Here's Directions to the Rose Bowl. We park in lots B or D [map]. Identify the PCC Food Services team at the entrance, go to gate 23, and ask for PCC's food stand.

Cov.House of California
Taking at-risk youth our age off Hollywd streets. They have
endowment funding, but they need people. Click for map.
AGS volunteers donate time to help their events, pack lunches, teach GED skills, pray, model stability, and have some recreation. You are their age: be a mentor for an hour on a weekday.

Project Angel Food
AGS members give of both their time and energy throughout the
year to PAF, by preparing meals at their Hollywood Center as well as volunteering at PAF's
highlight events:

LA Regional Foodbank is like a 'Meals on Wheels': prepare food
packages at their location in South Central LA weekdays 7:30am-3pm, distribute Saturdays 8:45am-1pm. Consider volunteering in a group of 3!

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Be a hero, bring magic to a child's life. It's meeting elem. & middle kids at school 1 hr/wk, during the school day when it works for you.
You are matched for compatible personality. For it, kids improve, achieve higher grades, and relate to adults better.

LA County Sheriff's Office
Is there a law-and-order streak in you?
No matter where you are in LA, the County Sheriff is serving, not far away. North of PCC on Lake Ave is Altadena's Sheriff's Station. They ask volunteers for a 4-hour shift. Chances to join patrols or assist Detectives at the station.
No experience? Not an issue!
Not sure? Maybe a career is for you, helping law enforcement in your field.

Don't think a botanic garden is only about plants. Represent AGS 1 hour/wk (50 hrs/yr). The Los Voluntarios service year runs July 1–June 30.
