Article I: Name and Mission
- Name
The Pasadena chapter is known as the Alpha chapter of Alpha Gamma Sigma, Inc., the
California Community College Honor Society (hereafter referred to as AGS).
- Mission
The purpose of the chapter is to:
- develop leadership, character, and judgment among the students of Pasadena City College;
- foster, maintain, and recognize scholarship;
- promote service to the college and the community; and
- develop programs offering cultural, social, and enrichment experiences.
